**Johnny's Poll**
Poll #1607862 JE Love

Which Johnny's member would you literally take a bullet for and why?

Because I was bored and I'm genuinely curious. It's a fun little thing I thought I'd post up here...

I was going to make this solely NEWS-related, but figured it'd be too narrow and wouldn't allow for variated answers, so I expanded it to Johnny's (although once I get the "ok" from the mods at [info]news_jpop I hope to post a NEWS poll there.) That post should have led you here. ^^

Who would you take a bullet for, knowing it could be fatal and kill you instantly? Who, in Johnny's, do you love that much? You'd risk it all for "him"..

I will be posting my reply in a few days time. Please send in your thoughts!

 My response:

{ Ninomiya Kazunari } <-- highlight
Because... What would the world do without him? :D

If there's more you'd like to say about why you'd take the bullet for said person, (if the character count in the poll is not sufficient) feel free to comment this post continuing your explanation. (:

Have fun with it, minna-san! Really think about who you'd do it for.. Imagine a situation if you have to, haha!

I look forward to seeing your answers. :D

Answering here because the poll at news_jpop won't let me comment anonymously and this is rather more personal than anything I'd like to have connected to my frivilous lj.

My answer: None and all

Explanation: I don't necessarily hold any of thier lives in higher regard than my own. But at the same time over the years I have come to realise that I take other people's safety and wellbeing very seriously. I've been working in childcare for over 5years now and grew up in a childcare centre before that. In a childcare sort of arrangement as a child, I took on the 'older sister' role of anyone younger than me (even if they were only younger by a day or two) and did all I could to look after and protect the other kids. As a childcare worker I took an oath to do everything I could to make sure that the children in my care were safe, healthy and as well adjusted as possible.

In the past year I had to deal with a highly abusive father who made me aware that I don't just consider the children as someone to look after at any cost, but that I think of my co-workers that way too. The more I thought about it the more I realised I would do whatever necessary to look after anyone that I considered in danger - especially if I have some sort of emotional connection but not exclusive to people I know.

I nearly died when I was seven and did die, for a few minutes, when I was ten. The only reason I am still alive is because my parents went beyond the call of duty to keep me alive despite my failing health. I am now a healthy happy adult in my mid twenties but I recognise that I'm living on borrowed time and if I have to give it up to give someone else a chance at life, then that is a risk that I am willing to make.

Your response, both elaborate and heartbreaking, really touched me. Thank you very much for sharing this deeply moving account with me, and thank you for taking this poll. I really appreciate it.

God bless.
